Black Oak Bakes
Black Oak Bakes come to life in Angela Slaughter’s small kitchen, located in the Black Oak Bunkhouse on the Black Oak Farms property. Brought up by a southern grandmother who loved to bake, Angela inherited that same love and has spent hours practicing and perfecting the craft. In 2018, she determined to conquer the skill of macaron-making. Several years and numerous disasters later, Angela has mastered macarons, giving them a touch of southern charm that would undoubtedly make her grandmother proud.
Angela is self-taught and describes her desserts as, “tastefully rustic.” She has made numerous wedding desserts, including cakes, mini tarts, cupcakes, macarons, and more.
Orders from Black Oak Bakes are limited, so it’s highly recommended that you submit your request at least a month in advance.
